Fees

Kashia charges fees on top of the transaction amount. The buyer pays the base amount plus fees. The seller always receives the full base amount.

Fee components

Platform fee — charged by Kashia on every transaction (default 1.5%, minimum ₦100, cap ₦50,000).

Marketplace fee — optional commission set by marketplace merchants (0–20%, optional cap). Single-vendor merchants always charge 0%.

Non-refundable fees

Fees are non-refundable. On refund or cancellation, the buyer receives the base amount only. Platform and marketplace fees are retained.

Per-link override

Marketplace merchants can pass merchant_fee_percentage and merchant_fee_cap when creating a payment link to override their default commission for that transaction.
